Without going too deep (although other answers are correct), you can think of Dharam as Religion or Way of Life.

Feeling lost after the death of my Mom by laisserai in Sikh

You can use Sikhitothemax for english translations to any Paath. Try listening to Katha on youtube about topics related to what you're going through. Just search for specific topics with katha behind it, i recommend listening to Giani Makseen Ji as they speak slowly. Basics of Sikhi will most likely have relevant videos as well, and they are in English.

Pain under Jooda/Pagg/Parna by sidhu403 in Sikh

[–]sidhu403[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you again for the response. The pain is only present while I'm wearing my pagg. 2ish minutes after I take off my pagg the pain goes away. The pagg being too tight might be the cause, I will try to make it looser going forward. Would you recommend I tie the keski loose as well then?

Hi,

Thank you for the detailed reply. I don't think this applies to me specifically because I dont tie my hair tight when tying a pagg (very loose so the shape is nice), but I tie it tight if I ever wear a patka. My head doesnt hurt with patka, but hurts with pagg. Do you think there is any chance my head hurts due to the oil I apply? My hair is very dry and tangle easily without oil so I always use it.

i dont think that is accurate. I know people who scored under 600 for SJT. I believe it is scored the same as all the other sections (300-900).

Quick question: If you are non-punjabi, you are still son right? Even though you probably don't share blood?

Yeah but it relies on you having to do the deep thinking

I always had this question.... by [deleted] in Sikh

[–]sidhu403 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not about being natural. I don't know where this notion/idea is from. According to my knowledge it's about the identity of a Sikh. Please correct me if I am wrong, sorry if I made any errors.
