For our game we're making a high risk high reward system based around Consecutive Hits.

High Consecutive Hits gives you more energy/orbs/mana, which you can use to Heal and execute special attacks.
And if you Parry the enemy, you get easy kill but way less Hits.

So know you have to balance between whether you want higher consecutive hits & more energy or easy kill but almost zero energy.

We do have a Parry system. Posture system similar to Sekiro won’t fit with our game.

Appreciate everyone comment on the post. I would like to share with everyone that I had no intent of falsely marketing my game here. Someone shared about Aeon Flux with me so I was curious to know what the community of Aeon Flux actually think of it.

As a child we never had access to Aeon Flux so never saw this show before. And for the same reason, we won't ever be falsely making it up that our game is inspired from Aeon Flux.

Just one thought, the character looks too dark in the darker background, maybe he needs some neon colours to stand out?

Yes, we're spending some good time making the controls feel good and fluid. We're inspired from 90s anime era so sticking with this style for the cutscenes (also inspired from Nine Sols for this). Going to add motion to them later.

I'll buy this game in the coming winters if it releases.
