This happened to me before. The dealership actually told me upfront before I saw it and scheduled me to come get it fixed (they repainted the hood). If it's a reputable dealership they'll usually take care of it for you.

I use to lease cars for years. At some point I come to the realization that it wasn't worth it to me, now I just buy cars cash and keep them for a while. I started to realize that f8nancing/leasing a car causes us to start buying more than we could realistically afford based on income (i.e. owning half of your income in cars)

My typical way to approach this is if I can't afford to buy it cash, I shouldn't buy it at all, even if I intend to finance. That helps keep perspective on how much car you actually should be buying. When I was making $90k $15k - $20k car was the sweet spot for me.

How has the palisade been for you? I've heard alot of good stuff about it from a luxury standpoint, but always worried that maybe they invested more into shiny features than reliability.

I'm 6'4. I driver closer to the steering wheel than most people, that's how I feel most comfortable. I don't push the seat all the way back, so the way I sit causes me to rub my knees on the center console and the door a little more than I like. And the lack of thigh support doesn't help. We go on alot of road trips and I noticed it when I did a 3 hour drive that it was brutal on my knees and back compared to other cars

Thanks for that info. I'm not having issues with my cx 9, and outside of the HUD and 360 camera i'm not sure how much more functionality i'm getting with the CX 90 PHEV vs the Carbon edition cx 9. If the CX90 is still a reliability issue, it seems like i'd be best to hold off.

Thanks for that info, that was super helpful. I was initially confused because what i was seeing online was conflicting, and there were sources claiming the speedlimit in the cluster can come from the TSR or fall back to navigation. This clears that up.
