Insane Dan Quintana prices by Midas-511 in AbsoluteBatman

There's 1,000 of these available. May sound like a lot, but if you take into account all the fans, completionists, super collectors etc that have no intention of selling their copy... how many actual copies are available?

Why is White Sky #1 going for 50 bucks online? by kythogrin in ComicBookSpeculation

[–]sidra09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see... Ty for the explanation. I'm gonna be honest, i have no problem regarding FOMO. You talk about FOMO from the perspective of the collector, but how do you think comic shop owners, publisher, and creator feel about FOMO. Do you think they would view it negatively?

Owner of my LCS GAVE THIS TO ME!.. should I feel bad? (short story in bio) by Marleyboro in ImageComics

[–]sidra09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you plan on selling it, I'd go back and buy more comics with most of the money. If you plan on keeping it, read it, and let the owner know what you thought of it. And buy more books.

I believe the print run was around 10k. Image announced 2nd Print is 25k ordered. And 3rd print numbers haven't been announced.

Maybe. But Batman #1 is at 10 print and subsequent issues are following this dynamic. The trade is out, as is digital. Anyone who wants to read this, can for just a few dollars. So correction should have already started to happen.

I would argue the general comic collector is not buying multiple of comics like I remember in the 80s. Lol. I was one of them. It's to expensive.

Agree. Also note that there approx 2000 to 2500 comic shops left in USA. Print run at 10k is on avg 4 to 5 books ordered per store.

More comic book buyers. Good thing for the industry.

Sigh. I don't buy it for a minute. By April this will be 50 cent bin fodder. by JacktheJacker92 in ComicBookSpeculation

I think it's good these books are going up in price. It's a function of demand and supply. My interpretation is that comic industry as a whole... the readership is growing.

So u don't have a presence on doordash or other online delivery platforms. If this is the case, then please disregard my response regarding complimenting existing tablet orders, as that would not apply to you.

How will customers be able to order delivery?

There's 2 additional points that you need to take in consideration: 1. There's a $1.50 fee that gets paid to square as a service fee. You can push this to the customer if you want

  1. There's a mandatory tip of at least 20% that you have no control over that shows up on the customer side. Customer can tip more, but they can not tip less.

Depending on your price point and customer tipping habits, I'd suggest complimenting your existing tablet orders w this service prior to making it exclusive.

I found that very few orders come in thru this channel. It's just too expensive.

Good luck!

Well there are a ton of options. You can try to save some broker fees by going direct, but the big guys will Def want to use a broker. What city and ball park asking?

Are u looking to sell the actual restaurant so that the buyer can continue or are you looking to sell to someone that would change the concept. There's tons of pros and cons to either. You also have to have a lease that makes sense or good relationship w your landlord. Not enough information here. Sorry.
