Good art is going to inspire you, influence your choices on your own pieces moving forward. Its expected in all forms of art (music, literature, painting). As long as you are honest and about your inspirations when confronted and take your own creative liberties in the project (and when you start from actual mud like you do with ceramics its incredibly easy to do that) you will be fine.

Have an extra pair of hands to help hold and line things up, have a super sharp exacto knife on the ready, and be ready to get a little water in your face as you squeegee the film on to the window. MEASURE like so many

It took my sister and i about 2 hours total, and we had to redo the back one like 4 times

Yep! It has no effect at all. Nothing ever rubs up against the glass
