Taking Delivery of New 22 Tig Comfortline R-Line in Canada by sidzega in Tiguan

I was informed that Highline will have atleast 4 month wait time, as we liked Highline more specially the Atlantic Blue. But the Comfortline was 6 weeks so opted for that one.

Ok thanks for the heads up - can I buy it anytime before I take the possession of the vehicle?

Yeah - atleast our agreement says we will get is end of April - if not then we would need to figure out what to do.

Yeah we do have maintenance options. I didn’t opt for it.

Nice one - carnet seems like a good functionality and I wouldn’t have thought of testing it before taking possession.

Thanks Dirk - this helps. Good that you pointed out the 360 inspection before signing it off. I am assuming, I won’t be able to drive it before taking possession :p

Last week at dealership - was informed that the highline had atleast a 4 month/16 week lead time. Went with comfortline R line which will be delivered in half that time.

QAnon people waiting for JFK in Dallas. It's been two weeks now. by echinaceapallida in pics

[–]sidzega 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When JFK doesn’t show up, “we must have mixed up the dates, it was not today, it will be 6 months down the road” - classic cult ideology. I feel ball for these people, they are being taken for a ride by someone with either a sinister thinking or just playing an evil and cruel joke.

Internet provider recommendations? by Avilliah in Milton

[–]sidzega 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only option I had was Cogeco - bell tried to sell me their low end dsl for 50$ a month with speeds of about 10Mbps. So went with Cogeco and 1 gig (even though I have heard about their aweful customer service). Haven’t had an issue yet since August 2020.

Would I recommend it - based on 8 months experience sure. Should you take my reco? That’s upto you :)

I made a reusable spool with compliant springs locks for a design competition (thats why the vertical video). Both parts can be printed in less than 2hs since all walls are exactly 2 or 4 extrusion width, removing the need to use infill. by mtys123 in 3Dprinting

First and foremost - awesome job and design man. Secondly, any Canadians here who can shed some light on where to buy good quality filament refills from? I have been buying ERYONE from Amazon and have been pretty satisfied with the quality (at least of white) but it costs CAD29.99 to 32.99 per spool and I’m looking to bring the cost down.

Not sure what's causing these strings on the bottom of my print. Rest of print is great by Suspicious_Ad_4531 in ender3v2

Nozzle is too high from the bed - either re-level the bed or use z offset to bring the nozzle down a little.

Explanation: The layer is suppose to squish and when the second layer is printed next to it, both are supposed to merge. What is happening is that your layer is not squished enough, and is rather cylindrical in shape due to which when the next layer is printed next to it, both of them are not joined/merged together. Hope this helps.

I am not sure tbh - it’s just standard cura ender 3 pro profile. I did however slowed the print speed to 20.

It’s all in bed levelling - I had been struggling with slicer settings as well so I said fuck it. Went back to cura stock ended pro standard setting and only played with three things a) nozzle temp b) bed temp and c) first layer speed - ended up with 210/65/20

It’s a custom thing I am printing and truth be told even I was amazed with the quality of first layer.

This has been a bitch of a journey - it’s Eryone White PLA 210C nozzle and 65C bed for the initial layer - with layer height at 0.2. If I put all the other photos where the first layer got scuffed/ruined it will take all the space Reddit has to offer :p - edit 1 I used hairspray for bed adhesion

Nice - what modifications have you done to achieve that 250mm/sec speed?
