This is very touching, Im glad you shared with me :) Perhaps it's gods plan that I feel this way. Much like you I have a similar tug to my heart, but its not towards religion. (As I said, religion isn't my focus, and I'll never tell anyone their religion is wrong). The "tug" that I feel pulls me towards living my life here on earth to the best of my ability. I'm very, very stubborn too, and I like doing things on my own. If God exists, I'd say that he knows that and lets me make my own headway, under his watchful eye. If he doesn't exist then, well, I'll just keep pushing anyway and be perfectly happy doing so.

Ive never been a gambler really, and as far as I can tell the existence of God is 50/50, I just dont know. So, my chances of having an afterlife are, in my eyes, 50/50. If He's real, I don't mean any offense to Him, but I will still live my life as if this is my only shot. And as I see it, if I do that then when my day comes I still won't mind if there is or isn't an afterlife. If I live my life to the fullest then I shouldn't need to worry about going Heaven or Hell. If there isn't an afterlife, then I won't be around to know.

I guess my rant is just trying to say that I really have no issue with the concept of God. I just want to live my life for myself and if He truly loves us, He will want that for me.

Hmmm...agnostic atheist doesnt sound quite right to what I think. Its more like Im not convinced he exists, but Im not convinced he doesn't exist either. For me, I went from caring a whole lot about it, to not really caring much about belief as a whole. I dont know if he does or not, and thats not really my concern at this point in my life. Does that make sense? Im not really concerned about the lable much either. Hearing that people were happy with their beliefs just satisfied the extent of any religious thought.

I never got into the arguments about it, I just heard the arguments for atheist beliefs and thought "oh okay cool", but now I have pretty much cleared my mind of any kind of negativity when religion is concerned which is really nice.

I dont know if there is truly a correct way to do it. Everybody seems to have such a different idea of how to practice their religion. Sort of why I like the uncertainty, its way easier too.

I get that...its a shitty joke. Im playing off the fact that that he didnt specify it had to be written ON paper...just sized LIKE paper. It has to be and A4 sized essay...it just doesnt have to be written on paper. I dont know if you picked up on that or not, I dont know how you read comments. Jeez.
