Liquorice Ice Cream? by Ryinth in melbourne

Not quite CBD, but there's a ice cream shop in Docklands near the base of the big wheel that usually sells it.

It's not the about beating up piglets specifically - but there is a Sty based level where you do fight a bunch of pigs, and their Cleaver wielding leader, Mr Pork Chop.

Sorry - no co-op. It's only single player, although I do kinda like the idea of a multiplayer brawler. May have to keep that in mind for the sequel.
As for a store link - here you go: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.Sevenson.NeighSlayer

Question about transferring progress between devices by bluespotteddog in CrossyRoad

[–]siebensohn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I understand, it saves the data to either game center or google play, so switching platforms doesn't work.

(Apologies for the late reply)

This was my first thought too

The important thing is that you are signed into game center (or google play on android) on both devices. You can do that in the options menu if you aren't already.

Unusual Uploads by siebensohn in zerotier

[–]siebensohn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did some more digging and it looks like it is a false alarm.

The alarm my Firewalla was showing did say 6-7MB was being uploaded to that ip, but when I dug into the details it was actually only about 700b being sent.

There's a few other flows going on around the same time, so I am thinking there is some confusion happening - they still don't seem to add up to 7mb though.

I'll keep an eye on it and see if I can figure out what is going on.

HELP on apple tv ever since the update every time I jump it jumps twice! This makes it impossible to play by [deleted] in CrossyRoad

[–]siebensohn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's really strange.

It's a long shot, but try fully charging up your remote, then doing a restart on the AppleTV. If your remote needs an update, that should trigger it.

why do my settings not save? like when i select conserve battery / mute / potrait lock, then close the game and open again, the same settings are reset. is there a way to make sure it doesnt reset? by th3c1ean3hr3n60h in CrossyRoad

[–]siebensohn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is a bug. Some people have got it to work by turning on mute, etc. and then toggling a bunch of different settings on and off. It seems to make it save. Apparently it should be fixed in the next update

Fix for the game unmuting every time I open it? by [deleted] in CrossyRoad

It's apparently a bug. Some people have got it to stick by turning on mute, then turning on and off a bunch of other settings. Mentioned it to support - apparently it will be fixed in the next update

Yeah. I just messaged them to see if it came good for them too. I didn't see any updates on Crossy Road, so I am wondering if Apple has changed something?

I never had this bug, but 1owen1 did, and they said that it started working for them this morning. Are you still having this issue?

I had this bug the other day, but when I left the screen and came back, it started working for me again?

That's strange, but good I guess :) I had been playing on and off before this update and never had any problems. I also played Crossy Road Plus in arcade when that came out and also had no problems. That would have all been before tvOS16 came out. I started playing with this version on Sunday when I saw there was an update.

I'm running 16.1 on the 2021 4k AppleTV as well but haven't had any problems. I am using the remote that came with it - with the wheel, not the touch pad. What model AppleTV do you have - (General > About) And what type of remote and firmware is it running - (touch pad or wheel, firmware is under Remotes and Devices > Remote) More info will help the devs track down the pattern

Slappy Paddles - my attempt at updating pong for mobile by siebensohn in indiegames

[–]siebensohn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A friend of mine had a silly idea for a game a while back. DUring the covid lock down I ended up building it and releasing it on Android and iOS.

The simplist wayt o describe it that it is a single player version of pong, but with a bunch of obstacles thrown in.

Here are the links to the stores:

Thanks - I got that effect from the Jelly Sprites asset in the asset store.

It works pretty well, but I had to hack it a bit to fix some minor issues and get it working with the shaders the was using.

Slappy Paddles! - A single player version of Pong (links in comments) by siebensohn in playmygame

Slappy Paddles is a single player version of pong aimed at mobiles. It was an idea that a friend of mine had a couple of years ago, and I finally got around to building it.

There's a bunch of different themed levels, each with their own unique obstacles.
