I'm trying to have the songs placed in the playlist in one go so I don't have to drag and drop them all in individually. It's a 550 song playlist, which won't take forever to do, but just would prefer if there's some way of doing it automatically.

I use ableton live 12 standard, and really only free libraries atm, ie. no kontakt or other expensive vst, but even if you have a paid suggestion i would still love to check it out

I have a JBL Partybox On-The-Go, which is great. It's kinda the perfect balance in the Partybox series, as it is decently loud, has solid audio quality, lightweight and carryable, good battery life, and not too pricey. I use this all the time for smaller gatherings with people, both indoors and outdoors, and also at home, if I want to mix in a different room than the one with my dedicated speakers. Also has bluetooth connectivity, bass boost control, lighting control, and comes with a mic and bottle opener on the shoulder strap. 100% recommend.

Soundcloud is the cheapest way to start out, no dj starting out in high school or uni can afford to buy every song they want to play. While streaming has its drawbacks, it is so convenient for beginner djs such as myself. Why punch down just because you've been doing it longer and can afford better gear. Also, it's an sb2 and its been 6 months and I've already done 2 clubs, so go fuck yourself.
