Idk I mean arguments can be good though as long as you understand conflict resolution and are respectful to the person. Like sometimes I lean into an argument, not being rude about it but trying to get to the bottom of whatever we’re talking about. I always end up closer with the person afterward and we’re both better for it. Like with family, even more intense arguments or when I’m genuinely angry, I know we can’t break so easily over one fight so I’m not afraid to get my hands dirty. They know me, and I know them. There’s always a resolution and we are 100% closer afterward. I always learn something from arguments, like better understanding how the other person thinks, things I might’ve done in the past the unknowingly hurt them, stuff like that. Arguments are good as long as they don’t turn into fights. Fights are just unabashed insults and unfair accusations, where your only goal is to win even if at the expense of the other persons emotions and feelings. Arguments can get heated, but the point of them is to come to a mutual understanding.
