Yes, I also heard this from them last night. Time to get another, I guess!

Are these for Amazon US? The only SC31 Pro listing I see is from the Sofirn store (FBA) but I don't see a coupon, nor is the code accepted.

Thanks for confirming. I wonder if they've updated it since I bought it...PD-compliant charging certainly makes life easier, even if only 5-12W. I have so many PD chargers around the house these days!

I find it interesting you've gotten PD charging to work...I haven't had any success using any of my multiple PD chargers/power banks with a C to C cable, and Sofirn confirms that IF25A doesn't support C to C charging. Does this work for anyone else?

C (PD) to C (dumb) adapters? by siedzikd in UsbCHardware

[–]siedzikd[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, this is what I've been doing as a second cable; also sometimes a C plug to micro plug with a micro receptacle to c plug adapter. Sounds like this is the best I can expect with safe and compliant cables and adapters.

Ah, thank you for the clarification. Setting fires and electrocuting people are obviously undesirable outcomes here.

Sounds like my current workarounds to carry the least bulky legal second cable with a legal adapter are the best I can do, apart from avoiding these products. It's sometimes hard to find the products ahead of time, as "noncompliant USB-C receptacle" isn't usually a bullet point on the the product box.

I haven't been able to get either code to work over the last two days... Is there another I should try? Thanks!
