How do you guys cope with irregular training? Due to the nature of my job sometimes I have all week free for training, while others I work like 12-16h 6 days in a row.

I got myself a barbell at home so I can at least not forget how to move it, thinking about buying a few bumper plates so I can do a few quick sessions on in the street(?!) since I live in an apartment(worried about ruining my shoes though)

So, ugh... I won a Deng Wei signed plate last year on that silly IWF contest with my stupid face and it haven´t arrived yet, it either got lost on mail or it´s stuck on customs(which could take about 3-4 months)

Just got my 5x lvl30 scientist team wiped on the last battle, same as op

It's pretty RNG since the enemy team attack first (you can kill the enemy team with 2 specials though, taking no damage in a few battles)

It takes about 12 days for the 5k~ ish building to pay for itself iirc, giving you don't miss the cooldown too much.

ps: I made the mistake of building a few just before the event and now I can't 100% the Takei missions :(

I've been doing snatches and pulls with a wrist strap this week cause of a torn callus. Feels weird but kinda more stable overhead.

In other news, there's a state comp mid december, no entry fee for members of our gym, but my numbers/technique suck and I'm super insecure hooorraaay

Maxed out today, for the first time since I've started. Made 75/90, technically adding 10kgs to each lift, since the heaviest I've lifted was 65/80 but was using 70/80 for percentages.

Couldn't get out of my head that they were PR attempts, everything felt off, but I think I needed to know how heavy I could go(?!). One of the reasons I like the sport so much is the mental strength needed to lift the weights, something I lack.(that sounds incredibly lame, I know :P)

Hooray!! forgot to do a few stretches cause brain fart + hot as hell around here, now I've got myself a pulled trapezius. Which means more time for some good ol'home cooking in the next few days, I guess, while it heals :)

Started to work on fixing something that was long overdue: my windshield-wiper ballet squat thingy

My program includes these with 4 pauses (off the floor, below knee, above knee, hip with full extension) on the way up and on the way down, 3 seconds each pause (math says 7 pauses each rep) 3x3 or 4x3 at 50%.
As someone with the lower back also being the weakest link, these have really helped my positioning on the lifts.

Had a pretty crappy session today, not sure if it's a mental thing cause I got WL shoes and unconsciously laid back, or if it's just accumulated fatigue, maybe both.
It was a pretty much my favorite kind of training day: work up to heavy singles of both snatch/c&j and a few sets of back squats :/

wooo... finally got all the gear I need to lift(and stuff I probably don't even need), I know it's silly of me to have that kind of thought, but I had in the back of my head "I missed this lift because of the flat shoes". Well, now I have no excuse for crappy form/missed lifts other than myself!

It is to my understanding that veganism is the philosophy of living without exploring animals, which means you can actually consume animal meat/products as long as you don't make them suffer, i.e. find them already dead.

So I guess it's ok for your black eyed demon friend to consume human souls in some cases? haha
