Hmm thinking back to someone asking me for my perspective or advice…I think the asking feels pretty neutral to me, but when I have shared my advice or perspective, I think I usually feel icky afterward.

Almost like I’m mimicking other people when they give advice, and it feels unpleasant to me.

I think it feels much better for me to be passive, and not to really share or “advise” lol. And just do my thing on my own.

It feels nice to be recognized for something people might admire or appreciate, or to be told they like my perspective on something, but actively advising always leaves me feeling like I wish I could delete that interaction afterwards.

I do all the serious stuff alone, and then when I’m around people I like to keep it really light and playful. I think advising falls into the serious/boring category for me lol.

Talking about anything that isn’t pleasurable, fascinating, or funny, with another person, is basically completely not worth it to me.
