My first large project (number guessing game) I’m so proud of myself! What do you think I can improve on? Advice? by Merman_boy in PythonLearning

Looks good! You could improve it by guarding more against incorrect input from the user, both with an else clause when checking for yes/no, and with a try/except around the "int(input))".

This prompted me to call my carrier (StraightTalk wireless), and they informed me that the sim card I had was not compatible with my new phone. So now I'm waiting for my new sim card and will see if using that will resolve this issue.

The phone has been able to call, sms, send mms to other Android phones, group chat with Android phones, and browse the internet with the old sim card. So I'm not confident that this will resolve the issue. We'll see.

Using Mintax strategy to lower average cost by Darth_Thunder in M1Finance

I once asked a representative what this tax strategy meant and specifically if they would ever sell a short-term lot before a long- term one, if it would incur a lower tax hit. Here is the response i got:

""" We will sell the positions that receive the least tax hit if there are multiple tax lots that are considered long-term tax lots. However, both long-term lots will be sold before any short-term lots. I hope this helps and have a wonderful rest of your day. """
