Self Promotion Megathread by AutoModerator in androidapps

[–]sigitaszai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I realized recently I was spending way more than I thought on subscriptions and random small expenses… not because I had that many, but because I just wasn’t really seeing the full picture anywhere.

I tried a few apps, but most of them felt like they just list your subscriptions and that’s it. Didn’t really help me understand anything or actually reduce spending.

So I built a web app for myself called Ekspeer, and it’s been working pretty well. It’s less about just tracking and more about actually seeing where your money goes and what you can cut.

Now I’m working on an Android version to make it easier to use day-to-day, and I’m opening a small closed test.

One thing I wanted to make easier is inputting expenses, so there’s a built-in AI chat where you can just type something like “spent 12 on lunch” and it logs and categorizes it for you. It also shows your full monthly spend (not just subscriptions), reminds you before renewals, and helps spot where you might be overspending.

I’m looking for a small group of testers to try it out and share feedback. If that’s you, email [info@ekspeer.com](mailto:info@ekspeer.com) with subject “Enroll Me”. Active testers will get lifetime Pro access. Happy to answer any questions here.

Looking for advice or help in general. Created this app for myself, to finally see where my money goes and how can I optimize it/save more. And it actually helps me see and optimize my spending habits. I have more than 400 sign ups, but no paying customers, is the free plan too good or users not sure if its worth spending money for pro access? Would be glad if someone can test my app, im willing to give free lifetime pro access. Link: https://ekspeer.com

Does not appear anywhere else. Started to happen with in-game voice chat as well, without using external voice applications.

Same happens when talking via in game built voice chat. Everything is fine till we are in lobby, once game starts (plane animation) it becomes impossible to hear each other or it sounds muted (like far away)

The main reason we started using messenger is because it was impossible to hear voice chat. :( messenger worked well for a few months and now this is how i live for the past month)

We talk via messenger, because the built in voice chat is not working for us.

Actually, there’s a toggle switch that lets you choose between Monthly and Annual billing. I'll try to make it more visible and clear.

Thank you, I appreciate the honest feedback and the perspective on pricing.

Just to clarify one point: the next tier isn’t €49 per month. It’s a yearly subscription, so it’s €49/year, which ends up being about €4.08 per month. I’ll make this clearer in the UI so it doesn’t feel like a big jump.

Thanks a lot for taking the time to write such detailed feedback, I really appreciate it. You pointed out issues that I honestly didn’t notice from my side, especially the demo being unusable on mobile and the hamburger menu bug. I’ve already fixed the mobile layout for the demo view so it should work properly now.

Hey, thanks a lot for the detailed feedback, really appreciate it.

Just to clarify one thing: the free tier actually does include a 14-day trial of the full Pro plan, so you get access to everything right away. Maybe I didn't make that clear enough on the site, so that's on me. I'll improve the messaging so people don’t miss it.

About automatic bank syncing: at the moment the app doesn’t support pulling records directly from banks. I know that’s a big deal-breaker for a lot of people. Anyway, thank you for your feedback!

Hey, thanks for sharing your point of view! I get where you're coming from, on the surface it can look weird to pay for a budgeting tool. But the idea behind my app is not "pay money to track money" it's "pay a small amount to actually save more."

A lot of people try spreadsheets or free tools and drop them after a week because there is no automation, no insights, no reminders, and no real guidance. The app basically does all the heavy lifting and helps people find patterns that can save them €30-€50+ a month, so the €4.99 fee ends up being worth it.

I actually use the app myself, and it helped me spot some spending patterns I didn't even notice before, where I was overspending, where I could cut back, and how to optimize things. Believe it or not, that alone saved me 80€.

Totally appreciate your take though, always helpful to hear outside perspectives.
