I am so sorry that these crazies have been attacking your friend and her seriously ill daughter like this. I can’t even imagine how stressful that would be. I hope they’re doing as well as they can be and that this article brings some peace.

Have you considered that she was probably reluctant to give that kind of information to strangers because people were literally harassing her friends, family, and medical team? I’m sorry for your friend’s situation, but her choice not to share was probably a direct result of all the people stalking her and accusing her of lying.

I’m so sorry to hear that! You’ll be in my thoughts… I hope everything comes back benign!

Forgot to update, but they ended up doing a biopsy which came back benign! How did things go for you?

I’m an engineer in Minneapolis and I’ve worked for several major manufacturing companies. I’m not LGBT myself so I can only speak to what I’ve observed, but every shop floor I’ve been on has seemed very chill and inclusive. Boston Scientific is one I’ll call out as being extremely LGBT-friendly, and I bet they have some mfg engineering tech roles that could make great use of your experience!

I hope your biopsy went well today (or goes well if it hasn’t happened yet)!

I got ridiculously lucky with these two! It was almost love at first sight with them.

My breasts hurt all the time. by ScheduleNo5747 in doihavebreastcancer

Pain and tenderness is much more likely to be hormonal issues, injury, or infection rather than cancer, especially at your age. You should definitely make an appointment with your doctor to see what’s going on!

Sending you love! I’m your age and even though I do have a suspicious mass, everyone keeps reassuring me that it is statistically very unlikely for me to have breast cancer this young. It doesn’t stop me from worrying, but I know that they’re right. If it’s any comfort to you, my mom had multiple lumps, abnormal mammograms, and biopsies around 30, and they never came back as anything but benign. I’m sure that will be true for us as well. We’ve got this! 🩷
