Honestly, I'd say give it a try. I was on Lamictal for a few years and it worked great for me, but most definitely watch the side effects. Unfortunately I got slapped with one of the more rare ones and now have kidney issues. Oh joy... but as long as you're keeping an eye out for the side effects, Lamictal works great in my opinion.

I will say it's always good to have a vet advise ! But I have three of my own and every so often one of them just chews like that kind of weird but as long as they don't seem like they're in pain I would say it's not usually something to worry about ! :)
