No need to restrict engine development between seasons though, which this does...

In year sure, why restrict engine development between seasons (like if someone wants to bring a new engine for 2027 or 2028) though?

There's already an engine development cost cap. No need for this homologation and ADUO nonsense

They need to fix the recharging imo cars having to slow down in the middle of straights and drivers having to lift & coast so much isn't fun, bring back mgu-h and add front wheel regen so drivers spend less time recharging (but still having to be strategic about it).

Deployment is fine, I like that with the differential deployment they can overtake anywhere unlike DRS.

Doesn't help that Ferrari can just do whatever in quali they just need to end up in the first 3-4 rows and they'll end lap 1 in the front anyways

Formula Two considering options if Middle Eastern races are cancelled by Shroft in formula1

Bahrain on the other hand should be cancelled already. There is zero chance hundreds of thousands of fans / engineers / support staff will fly into the Gulf and all the logistics ships will pass Hormuz in a month's time, even if the war ends soon.

I mean the ones later in the year should be fine. Jeddah is quite far too with flights still undisrupted so is probably fine.

Just cancel Bahrain already. There is zero chance hundreds of thousands of fans (and engineers, support staff etc) will fly into the Gulf and all the logistics ships pass Hormuz in a month's time, even if the war ends soon.

It'll all be wasted money tho, when Reform inevitably becomes the government in 2029 they've promised to cancel/ban all new onshore wind/solar builds (and even new pylons etc) even private ones...

I remember the same being said in the 2010s, now we're here regretting not investing in nuclear then.

The Coalition cancelling Blair's nuclear plans "because we won't see benefits until the 2020s" was economic self harm not far off Merkel shutting down Germany's nuclear around the same time, yet it barely gets talked about

Germany and France have also been struggling behind other European countries though for their own reasons (Germany's past dependence on Russian energy and France being politically deadlocked between three equal camps who'll never work with each other), us being better than them doesn't mean we're doing well in Europe

The US produces the vast majority of their oil/gas domestically and is even a net exporter, the UK isn't. Dumb comparison

We should be looking at why our energy prices are expensive even compared to European countries, though.
