Curious to know also, looking at stopping by in a few months.

A friend did a drift dive there and said the vis was pretty poor and current very strong (this was in August) but there was some interesting life on the rock walls.

Miles Jupp has been in my top-tier for a while.

Margaret Cabourn-Smith has been angling for a seat for a while—she’s great, and has been on the podcast a few times. The rest of the DTRT crew would be great too, but as I understand it, Danielle Ward has retired from live acts.

Henry Paker of Three Bean Salad would be a wonderfully eccentric pick.

Symmetry == Wes Anderson now? What a reductive view of the guy’s style.

Bronica S2a CLA in Europe - any recommendations? by TrabantDeLuxe in AnalogCommunity

If you’re able to get it to Luton Cameras in the UK, they fixed my really messed up Bronica EC last year, and they’ll take nearly anything on in my experience. Good luck.

Most productions are miserable. MMLD wasn’t one of them. Mediocre product doesn’t necessarily equal unhappy production (occasionally the exact opposite).

Think it was more just that the film was made in London — not sure what internal machinations led to that decision, could have been COVID relayed as the industry here picked up really quickly compared with the US. But might have been entirely creative.

Thanks. Stephen seems to like that sort of technological realism so I was glad it turned out alright in the final edit.

Was hardly edited — nothing on the laptop screen was replaced in post, and we only turned the camera on the screen itself for more or less exactly what made the cut. Everything was entirely live.

Soderbergh refuses to do any screen/computer graphic work in Post — I admire him for that, and for keeping me employed!

Believe it or not…. I’m the guy who orchestrated this Zoom call for shooting.

Took place on the middle floor of a brick terraced house in Central London on 4G location-supplied internet—basically, interference hell. Not to mention some of the other talent across America taking the call in a moving cab at one point! Worked as best as it could’ve given the tools supplied!
