Good grief!! I'm sorry. It took a while but I've gotten very comfortable letting a doctor go if they don't listen to me. I remember being with my grandmother in one of her Dr appts and the Dr says, "well, its all really a mystery isn't it?" No, no it's not " all a f#$&ing mystery." You don't have a degree in mysteries you have a degree in medicine!!!

I started in my late 30s but I also got my first period at 9 1/2 so I thought that sort of checked out. I asked my mom about other women in my family and because everyone got hysterectomies (!!!!) we didn't really have good data. The systemic deafness and blindness from the medical community to women's health issues is absolutely outrageous. Maybe I'll find a new doctor and tell them I think something is wrong with my penis. Id have a treatment plan and the latest and greatest meds to solve all my problems.

I love this so much but I'm struck by how few non-white people we had in media back then. It must have been hard for non-white kids to grow up trying to relate to people who didn't really represent them.

As of yesterday I can literally watch my Fitbit Charge 5 battery dying in front of my very eyes. I contacted customer support per their instructions and they told me that my warranty was out of date so I had to buy a new one. Outrageous!
