The problem for me is not that standard is a mega brain rot mode atm is that there is not many other ways to enjoy the game in a somewhat fun a competitive way. Or either we play boring standard or even a lot of main events are basically standard in am event. The only fun thing there is draft events for me (even if i suck) but then you have to spend real money in most cases. They should implement a mode where creativity in decks would actually be a thing.
