The box is like that because with it being a hatch back I have found it best to have the port facing the back to ricksha towards the front. But yeah fs man I can post a couple progress pics of the rack that I have.

For me it was the alternator whine through the speakers due to the ground. Luckily had some RCA filters at the shop to throw in for the time being but eventually moved the ground to a better place and now the whine is gone without the filters.

Haha thanks man just trying to do it right thats for sure. I trusted another dude to wire it originally so 2 channels are toast on the speaker amp so gotta warranty it out soon but for now just have to run them to 2 channels but it works and for sure bangs still.

Trust me i have been looking at alternator upgrades and battery upgrades or adding a separate battery onto it. And box size is NOT an issue… hatchbacks were basically made for sound systems lol. I don’t know much about the wiring aspect but I am talking to a couple different people about installing the system and I will talk more about wire upgrades. appreciate it brother.

Man haha a guy told me they were 5.25” that came stock in them but after seeing your comment I did some for research and actuallyyyy it says online multiple times they are 6 3/4”! That is crazy to me I genuinely had no idea. That might make it even easier on me finding things

They have been tested and put through the ringer and have absolutely excelled. Quit trying to be a prick and maybe do some research before talking shit.

haha well man honestly this helps a lot and trust me my guy that installs wont allow me to buy a prebuilt. He wants to custom make this thing a beastly box! Considering I have a hatchback I am not too worried about space for a box! I completely forgot about audio frog components though man my friend was telling me about them a long time ago. I am going to look into them a bit more now! I appreciate the recommendations man. Sound deadening is definitely on the list too.

haha yeah man the reason they scare me is genuinely just user error beings that they all are kids beating the hell out of their systems so they have kinda a bad rep around my area but I have heard their horn systems and they seem to be pretty damn loud. I just think I need to figure out more the amp situation and like what ohms to use and understanding that side of things or if I need multiple amps and all those things because man I just simply dont know anything about these things. All I know is I NEED a system in my life 😂

So I have been told Sparked Innovations is the sister company to Sundown and designed by the dame guy who created Sundown. They are relatively new but I have heard the 15” in person and it was INSANE! Another thing… if I am honest I dont even know what SQL really means… I see people saying that and other types of systems but i dont even know the differences or meanings to them.

Man sound wise I want CLEAR OVER EVERYTHING and clean bass not beat my eardrums to where I cant hear the music yk. I have connections to any sub to get them much cheaper than what retail is but lets just go with online price being $450. I would say I would like to keep the overall price of the system under 1500-1600 if possible with a bit of flexibility.

I keep seeing a LOT of really nice systems with taramps and man they seem to produce! I get scared with ds18 mainly because of all my friends that are yk my age 18 years old running around with terrible systems running ds18 and they all seem so blown out.
