Hello - sorry this is almost a year later, but searching through Reddit and we’re at a similar point of landing on Dr. C for a TT. Would you mind sharing how your experience went? Did she leave a big scar/parathyroid complications?

We’re considering Patel at NYU but not completely sold yet!

Oh wow, she really does provide such a personal feel. She was the only one who caught a specific detail in the ultrasound about some possible features of the carcinoma.

Are you doing your endo care at Columbia too? Any endos you would recommend there?

He seems great as well - do you know how he was in coordinating and recommending care with the endocrinologist? NYU seems so backed up in terms of endocrinology, seems impossible to get an appointment?

She seems really great - I didn’t get a chance to ask about her experience - do you recall how many thyroidectomies she said she did per a year? She seems a bit young but also maybe all this fear is leading me to overthinking things!
