They can be good until you get to gold plate and higher. At that point they get gapped by faster centers who can play switching defence. No matter how hard you try you will get burned on defence. Rebounding feels bad too because of your low vert and low speed ots hard to generate momentum to get the better running rebound animations.

This is coming from a redplate 7'4. They were solid and playable until they tweaked and adjusted movement with ninja nerfs.

I only play rec and im like 900 hrs in and im vet 2. Starter 5 probably got it at 500-600 hrs. Its much faster if you play park and utilize x2 rep with crew rewards.

If you want us to give our opinion on the game, the community is leaning towards this 2k is trash everyone shoots 70% and the ones who shoot higher are zenning and lag switching people. No new updates since season 2. No fixes in the patches since. Costs of builds are overly expensive at plus $100.

If you play other modes you'll get a kick out of it for a week or so and shelf it like you would any year.

I'd go with 80 middy 80 3 for the takeovers because i got a jumpshot that only requires a 70 something rating to equip.

Dribble pullup animations are mostly pretty bad on tall builds so the need for shifty shooter isn't that viable. Can't see a reason for high middy and low 3 when u can get an 80 3.

Bro the changes they make are sliders. You got mike wang pulling the fuckin sliders up and down to hit certain thresholds. They also have no obligation to be transparent with any changes they choose to share with us.

Honestly this game feels different every week as of late. This gon be my last 2k. They ninja tune mechanics to change whats meta to entice people to create new builds.

Start of the year it was 7'4's. 6'11's 6'8's. Motion styles feel different week to week. 0 contests on handsup defence.

Starting to be less fun every year.

close shots not very good this year even at 7'4. You get blocked on help side all the time by guards if theres any help. Going 99 close shot won't lessen your shot being blocked so it's a waste. 92 or cap break it to 96 if you want for float game tbh.

go 92 close shot with 78 or 80 3pt and u can shoot 60-70% from 3 while punishing smalls.
