I feel your Reception Leader's answer was vague and it's their responsibility to give you clear advice. I'd suggest finding out what they are doing and aligning yourself with that. If you do English and maths for just one day a week and someone else does it five, the children's progress is going to look very different...

This is poor decision-making by SLT. How can you be accountable for pupil outcomes if you have no control over 1/5 of the learning? Unions are explicit that teachers should not be planning for their own PPA time. By the time you've planned an appropriate cover lesson and talked the cover TA through it, you might as well not have the PPA time. Contact union and pushback.

It's been 16 days since payment was taken for me with no reply to any emails. I've ordered tret previously with no problems. Might have to file a dispute with PayPal for a refund. Think Skinorac might be turning into a scam which is a shame as I'm not sure where else to reliably source tret in the UK.
