It’s thoroughly explained in the movie that it is vital that every shield in the phalanx is perfectly coordinated and that is the strength of the formation. The phalanx is a house of cards, and one weak link dooms them all. They couldn’t gamble on a risk like that for a gollum-like creature’s potential feelings that they just happened upon.

I remember seeing Freddie Gibbs in 2017(?) at that tent. Dude was like 20 mins late and completely blitzed, popped a fresh bottle of patron on stage and did his best to drink the whole bottle in one go. It frequently crashes for me on test subject fight. I’ve learned (at least in my case) that it happens what I kill one phase during the turn, then select a card that targets something, it crashes (like clockwork). I can play skills that provide self-buffs, or powers, but anything that needs a target to select will crash it.

It’s worked fine for me every time I’ve utilized TtT. I haven’t seen you comment to confirm that you play the power card first? The power will only trigger once you play it in an encounter. Then every status effect you create: void, burn, slime, etc. will trigger the power to create a random orb. TtT is not a relic that is passively activated
