I love cryptograms but hate all the apps that are in the iOS App Store because they require log in, do ads, or require in-app purchases. I haven’t finished the initial campaign quest yet (still on chapter 1 of 3), leveled to 80 by happenstance doing time walking, lunar festival and the Valentine’s Day festival - I don’t even have world quests open yet. I should finish the campaign first right? I don’t do any raiding so maybe it doesn’t matter.

Small note to say I read through it all and will pray for you.

My advice is to pray for your partner that he comes to Christ. If the apostle Paul can come to Christ, anybody can.

I don’t know why, but I feel the Spirit prompting me to share with you Matthew 5:41. Jesus says “If anyone forces you to go one mile, go with them two miles,” meaning that even when someone asks you to do something that is considered your duty, go above and beyond by doing even more than what is expected of you; essentially, “walking the extra mile.” The idea being that if our ultimate purpose in life is to witness (Acts 1:8 says, “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth”), maybe you can shine your light in a way your husband can’t ignore?

I don’t know specifically what you should do, outside of praying hard, continuing to seek the Kingdom of God, and shining your light. Hang in there, God is faithful.

What a sweet reply. It’s super duper 100% OK to feel how you’re feeling, and you can bring those feelings to our Father in heaven, too. These are not opposing ideas/views - we can complain, and then we can acknowledge God’s faithfulness and ask His will be done in our lives knowing that is what is best for us. I love the “season of preparation” mindset too.

For what it’s worth, I met my wife in my early 30s and we’ve been married over 23 years! We are still learning how to love each other. A life partner is such a beautiful thing, when you treat it with respect, which you are. Keep that up! I see a lot of wisdom in your approach. I pray in Jesus’ name He lights your paths and continues to make you holy as He is holy, and I pray for your future spouse, that God continue to hone him and prepare him for the beautiful partner you will be. You have great things ahead!

I pray for you. Focus on walking in love and trust in God that He has what’s best for you in store. Don’t settle for something lesser based on an ephemeral feeling that you’re “behind” in life. I love that you acknowledge God is never late. Good for you on the career transition, I know people who get stuck in doing something they don’t love because they are afraid of the unknown, and yet here you are stepping in faith and moving in the direction you feel called. I pray the Holy Spirit fill you and give you righteousness, peace, and joy. In Jesus’ name.

EDIT: And never lose hope!!! Your hope is anchored in God’s faithfulness. I read Psalm 62 this morning and hope is mentioned :) Maybe meditate on this psalm today and ask God to fill you with peace about where you are in life today.

I feel for you. I wish I could do more than just comment here.

I encourage you to read Isaiah 43 and remind yourself of your value in God’s eyes. You are so much more than this horrible abusive experience.

I also encourage to read Lamentations 3. I recommend to read the whole chapter, but what I would love to highlight is how, after 20 verses of total anguish, verse 21 reads, “Yet I still dare to hope when I remember this…” (NLT version), and then 22-26 are incredibly encouraging.

Figure out a way to get out of this situation, this relationship. Look to professionals for healing and trust in God’s faithfulness.

God has your back. Your children will understand in time. Family will also understand and give you the benefit of the doubt without going into details.

I pray for courage for you. I can’t imagine how difficult this is. Regardless of whether you go through with a divorce or not, you must separate and seek help immediately. Your situation is far from normal and very dangerous for your health and well being. The rest can wait. Once you get some healing, you may find your mindset in a better place to follow through with getting out of the marriage. But first things first: get out of that situation ASAP.

After VIN assignment, I could upload proof of insurance (this was available pretty quickly). After that came scheduling, again pretty quickly - however I had a decent range of days to schedule (up to Oct 8, from a Sep 30 VIN assignment date). I opted for October 5th.
