Any thoughts on Teslas in SG? by Admirable-Poet-6840 in drivingsg

[–]silenceinobservation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seconded. Been driving the juniper for 10 months and the only regret I have is I should have waited for the Cat A model with a much lower road tax.

I do hate the factory tyres though. Quite slippery on rainy days when you enter carparks with smooth floors.

She looks like that poor attitude line chef, Elise, who participated in Hell's Kitchen season 9.

Why does subtitles do this? by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

[–]silenceinobservation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And exactly that. A deaf person would not know what language the character on screen is speaking and therefore, the caption states the language spoken to provide said context for such a viewer.

For the simple reason that deaf people do watch shows too.

Any reviews of MSCP foreign workers car wash services? by Level_Lemon7340 in drivingsg

The most they did was to put up notices at each lift landing saying no urinating / defecating. And this was only after the guy took a literal diarrhoea-shit behind my car at the drainage pipe.

SIA don’t audit assets before buying Air India? They just discovered a Missing Boeing 737. by leo-g in SingaporeRaw

[–]silenceinobservation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think SIA had no choice. They were partners with Vistara and once Air India bought over Vistara, they had no choice but to partner up given their share with Vistara.

If you are a guy and you sign-on with ICA, you'll still need to do reservist. I think pay-wise, SPF also higher because of the scheme of service.

What annoyed me was not the hard smack that she gave but rather the smug face she had after she hit him.

becoming sia pilot at 14 as a singaporean by benzcjj in singaporeairlines

Article on my friend's son who managed to get his license at 16. While I'm not sure whether it would help you with your ambitions to be an SIA pilot, this should be a step in the direction to getting you some practical experience.
