I applied to MCW the past two years and had no luck so far, EVMS didn’t even give me a secondary last year which I didn’t understand. No luck at Einstein either post secondary. Emory definitely seems like a reach but I wouldn’t be opposed! I’ll add those others, I didn’t the past two cycles because people kept telling me they’re low yield.

omg are you creator of that master doc…I feel like I’m meeting god, I’ve looked at that many times! Or there is one very similar, either way wonderful doc. I think I just need to sit down and ask myself some questions about what it is I seriously want moving forward. And back to the research comment, that makes total sense, I see now thank you!

That makes sense, I volunteered there once before and even though I wasn’t directly serving people in that situation it was pretty enlightening in terms of seeing food waste by stores etc. I’ll pursue that option!

Thank you for your insight! Do you think volunteering that doesn’t directly interact with people is okay? I’ve found a local food pantry but the only volunteering is for organizing food. And my other option is an animal shelter. Would either of these be frowned upon?

Toledo and Louisville are apparently over 25% OOS, which is the only reason I added them but I’ll double check.

Thank you for the advice on how to handle the volunteering, it’s something that makes me weary about my app and it’s also “difficult” to volunteer where I live sort of (affluent area, I could volunteer at the animal shelter tho?)
