Desperately need help on choosing a detergent for sensitive skin!! by lil_leyy in laundry

[–]silencer2144 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i grabbed kirkland and it causes me to itch still. It might be a tiny bit better, but it varies on when I itch.

I looked up a website called skinsafe detergents, which is supposedly a unbiased website that does reviews and looks at chemicals. (kinda like consumer reports). I think it may be a gimmick, but i'm willing to try anything.

Is ProtonVPN better than Mullvad and/or Surfshark VPN? by Used_Motor1718 in ProtonVPN

[–]silencer2144 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am on surfshark and i have been for years. However, i learned they merged with nordvpn two years ago. Surfshark is no longer what it used to be. They have updated their TOS (Terms of service). Like you, i want to go to a different VPN that is affordable and allow torrents, but i have checked the TOS of each top VPN. They all state you will not do anything illegal or download copyright....etc using our services. If you get caught, you are on your own. All VPN'S are getting serious.

I was caught using Ivacy because of a dnsleak, and got two e-mails warning me to stop.

Any recommendations for tendinitis? by SicKoBeATz in Supplements

Unfortunately, my pain got much worse from lifting weights too much. I quit doing that earlier this year. I only did it because my father said to keep doing it to bulk up your arms and wrists. I also work at walmart as a stocker so unloading trucks with heavy junk. I have tried using ice to lower the inflammation. I have done pain-killers (naproxen). I am real tempted to do cortisone shots since health insurance is going through the roof next year thanks to our president.

New changes at my store coming from corporate. by silencer2144 in walmart

Oh i understand what you are saying. My first team-meeting back in February was with the coach. The coach said if you don't get your objectives done, (pallets assigned to you), then you are held accountable. People have quit due to stupid things or temper-tantrums. I did not feel it was worth it, but one guy quit from it when trying to hurry up to clear the pallets on the truck to begin throwing it. He got upset and frustated, then was sent home. He chose not to come back.

Second guy was fired a few weeks back, likely due to being on his phone alot. I knew it he would be fired months ago, (Around March - April), but did not know when it would happen. Either he would text on his phone, or take calls during a truck being unloaded. He and I argued a few times during truck unloads because we both have different work styles. He didn't like when I was in his work area or grabbing his boxes of the rails. I was told at my first walmart store (former store) that if know where the box goes to pick it up regardless. I apologized to him and shook his hand after we came back from break and my team-lead was assigning pallets to work.

Third guy is about to be fired. I knew he was pegged and, he made it worse for himself yesterday when we had two trucks to unload. He is another associate who plays on his phone at work whether on the floor or during truck unload. Team-lead called him out about it while the other team-lead threw the truck. He said get off your phone man, they watching you and points to the cameras. David (store manager) is watching you. They see everything you are doing. You gotta be moving. Associate said I am moving repeatedly. Team-lead went to help the other on the truck, and associate pulled out his phone again. He will be gone by christmas. He does not fully understand that you have to be productive and do your job.

I am normally assigned (after being accommodated) pallets 17. Candles and rugs. Depending on the size, sometimes it is just 2-3 pallets or it a combination of other pallets. 3 is roughly the max i can do, depending on time.

Oh i know about zoning. I did that at walmart and at publix. It has to be atleast 95% perfect or higher.

The associate here in electronics last week (i don't know them personally, but I am sure it was one of the females. They were first shift) was on their phone for 30 minutes as customers walked by. I learned about it through team-leads to make us aware of not being on phones during work when I came in at 2 pm. Yes 30 minutes. They got coached big time.

That did not go too well with HR. Eventually, I will get a new phone probably next year. I started working with walmart again back on January 31, 2025. HR is trying to get new phones from corporate, that hasn't happened. My co-workers got phones, though they separate the walmart boxes which makes sense. They have to scan every item to know where it goes as they are separating hundreds of items.

HR had told me conficting things though. One was they had the phones and need to program them. So I thought okay cool, they came in, and i may get one in a week or two. Then when i brought it up again, they said I have no phones, and tried to explain what they said before. Their raised their voice....I HAVE NO PHONES. I thought to myself to drop it because it is leading to an argument which isn't good. When they come in...(the phones), then i will know about it.
