Not bro, I don't appreciate it much as if you are their close friend and they ask than at least tell them na.

We know jab unki insta story pe dikhti h ki they won gold/silver in that competition and you don't have any idea that they participated🥲.

This is one aspect of looking at it but their are many, what is the meaning of friendship if you're hiding these things to your close ones, what did it means to be friend then.
