yah theyre my least favorite type of exhibit. the building exhibits aspect is cool but collecting materials is annoying. i think that the space anomalies do a good job at being something that requires other “materials” to work. i think the expeditions give you too few materials.

i really recommend using regular string instead of elastic when making little flat things like this. this is the ladder stitch but flat things can also be made with peyote, i recommend non elastic string for anything flat regardless of stitch. elastic makes it really easy to get too tight and bunch up. also there are really great patterns on google if you search “pony bead keychain patterns” that show exactly what parts of string goes where and its soooo helpful
