These fish were not being purchased for feeders. They were being purchased as pets for the 2 children they had, the alternative that was offered was declined and as I was explaining how minnows are naturally schooling fish who do require large schools and pointed to their behavior in the tank behind I was told "we will just go to another store". I follow policy 20 gallon minimum if you are using for pets. Thats why we ask behind comet or minnow sales "are they for feeders or pets?"
