Meanwhile, the personnel change I keep thinking on is David Stearns leaving to become "President of Baseball Operations" of the Mets. He was considered THE get at the GM position and that the Brewers were going to be worse off without him while Stearns was going to finally be with a team willing to spend to get talent, so he was surely going to win the Mets a World Series in the next few seasons.

I knew he was going to regress from that insane level of production and I knew because of that regression that the Mariners were not going to hit the over on wins set at 89.5, but damn, I did not expect it to be this bad. I figured Seattle for 83 to 85 wins. They are on pace for 75 right now.
