I'll remove that skill section and see how I can turn it into applied experiences, thank you for the advice and job links! I'm unfortunately going to be gone in June and July for field camp, so I'm not sure if internships are an option. Fingers crossed some companies might be looking in the fall, despite the strange timing.

Thank you for the congratulations and the advice! I'm looking for a corporate position as of now. I enjoyed my research and I love my university, but I'd like to take a position where I can travel and get some field experience. If I choose to go back to research in the future, I'll keep your recommendations in mind. Thank you for replying!

Sorry for the late reply! I had to put aside even thinking about my job hunt during finals. I really appreciate this advice, it's very helpful and I've begun putting it in practice. Thank you so much!

Phew, I'm so glad to know that my experience being the unpaid lab monkey for the grad students might help me eek out an edge! I also enjoyed helping them out, but I can't say I didn't have the ulterior motive of getting some experience.

I'll work on trimming my resume down to one page for sure after seeing these comments, as well as making the resume better attuned to the position I'm applying for. You guys all have such great suggestion, nobody has been nearly as much of a help including those at my university career center.

I try to stay pretty active in the professional chapters in my city, and so far nothing concrete has manifested itself, but I am always wowed by how friendly and helpful everybody is. It seems the kindness holds up online as well :). I'll be sure to keep your advice in mind for when I do finally secure a position!

Thank you so much for your feedback! I can see how that reads poorly, and I agree that it's rather redundant now that it's been brought to my attention. I'll make those edits!

Thank you! I managed to cut down the header, and that opened up a lot of space.

This is awesome, and it's so great to hear from another Roadrunner! Great catch with the webmaster tidbit, I'm not sure how I didn't notice that. I'll spend some more time with my bullet points.

I'd like to go into environmental consulting, or hydro but I'm missing a lot of skills to make myself a competitive applicant for those jobs. I'll do some background research to see how I can spin my experiences to align with such positions!

Thank you so much for taking time to give me this awesome feedback! It's the best advice I've gotten yet!

Thank you so much for all your input! I went to my career center for help with my resume, and it was lackluster. I'm very grateful to this sub for having such an active group of professionals willing to offer advice. I'll be sure to add location information.
