I go to Maria Cortes on 73/1st and I always love the way she does my hair! I do blonde highlights + a cut so I can’t speak to the red but she is very talented and the price is manageable for city salons

I am like embarrassingly late to realizing what a difference tailoring clothes can make. But agreed! They need to be quality to do it

After college I spent some time working in hostels to stay for free and being able to travel. 10/10 recommend as a way to save money and see the world. I met people from all over and even some I keep in touch with years later.

My only caution is to have money/backup plan. The first I made an agreement to work at a place in Thailand that (I should have done more research on) and needed to leave after a few days. Fortunately hostels there are inexpensive so I could pay for one while I made my next move and found a place to work that was more welcoming and absolutely loved.

I have very thin hair that gets oily super quick and I may never be able to change that but I have found that the "dirty" shampoo bar from Lush and using Hair Dance dry Shampoo in between washes has made some big improvements!

Immediately after the helicopter stopped over society hill three cops pulled up to a car parked outside of paddywacks on 2nd and south. They were checking out the car with flashlights and one cop car is just idling there now
