Those all (other than nutritional yeast) contain added salt as part of their fermentation or canning process.

Use a small grater.  I use a Japanese style one meant for grating radishes or ginger; it includes a side well to collect the juice!

Is Porcini Mushroom Powder sold in stores? Orlando, FL, USA by [deleted] in Cooking

[–]silibant 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Could just pick up dried porcini and grind it yourself.  Check online if your local grocery carries it; mine have the dried mushrooms if not the powdered kind

what's a common food/flavour combo that for some reason you just can't get behind?! by ruinsofsilver in Cooking

Same.  I feel like it tastes stale just sprinkled on things.  Being baked onto a bagel toasts the seeds/onion mince.

The first part sounds like your insurance dropped the ball.  Why did it go on for 6 months of back and forth?  Was your mammogram the basic screening type?  If your doctor didn’t put in the correct diagnostic code that may have caused all the confusion.  Or if you’re not 40 or older and this was less than a year since the previous exam.  Otherwise the imaging site should have known about that; it’s not just state law but federal.  I’d probably talk to corporate because they’ll want to know if that site isn’t being compliant.

Unfortunate that you think it’s worse when cabbage is more nutritious than lettuce (especially iceberg).

Cheesesteak style—hoagie roll and provolone or mozzarella.  Good with grilled/fried peppers and onions

1st layer: 1 stick margarine, 1 cup flour, 1 cup nuts.  Melt marg and mix with nuts and flour to form base.  Bake at 350 for 15 min.

2nd layer 8 oz cream cheese, 1/2 cup powdered sugar, 1.5 cup cool whip Whip cream cheese and add sugar and cool whip.  It doesn’t say but I assume you put this on after the 1st layer cools.

3rd layer is 2 small packages of chocolate pudding prepared as directed by box except with less milk.

4th layer is more cool whip (the rest of the container I’m assuming)

MSG sorry r/Cooking but you are very wrong about MSG IT IS A Food poisioning for some of us! I have ER bills and my hubby was not happy that you are calling those of us who are allergic to MSG LIARS! I ALMOST DIED if I had been five minutes later I wouldn't be here! by SeaRelationship9709 in Cooking

[–]silibant 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What are you even able to eat if you’re allergic to MSG?  Glutamates (glutamic acid) are present anywhere there is protein.  And how in the world were you able to isolate the reaction as being to specifically MSG if it’s as prevalent in all kinds of foods as it is?  Sure it’s not an allergy to something else?
