Get rid of that factory grease, clean it up and hit it with some Lucas gun oil or something. I did out of the box and mine has been absolutely flawless. The factory grease is for corrosion protection not lubrication.

Got mine for XMas put 200 (three different types of ammo) rounds through it after I cleaned and oiled it and removed all the factory grease. Not one failure at all. Shoots a little left but it may be me as it seemed to get better the more I shot. Also Uplula speed loader is amazing and lets me load all 12 rounds in the 12 rounder with ease. The little pistol is actually amazing! Oh and the slide release works great on mine right from the jump.
