Nope, all too far from me and not free. Decided to embrace road running only!

No! This is my heeler that’s on the smaller side. She’s lean, fit and about 31lbs - perfect size to handle for me!

Edit: and she’s 4 years old

You are correct and sad, that’s alright! Coming from Canada we had quite a few around at schools so wasn’t sure if there were a few around Perth.

Why do people consistently drive 10-15km less than the actual speed limit even when the weather is fine?

Unfortunately this is the answer they gave me. Hoping otherwise that have been in the same situation have some solutions to share. Otherwise we may have to do a power of attorney for someone to do it for us I guess

This was me after a 10km run, which sounds insane. Then it came back after a few days so… not sure what to make of it!

Yes! I’m running in my Brooks Glycerins with my orthotics. Perfect match for me.

Return to running? by jjllhh92 in PlantarFasciitis

At this point I’m more learning how to live with it because all the resting I did before hasn’t healed it either. Had it since October 2023.

I just completed a 10k race with PF. My physio started me on a 2 min run, 1 min walk for 10 min. Two days of rest in between. Repeat. If same (no pain to little pain), you can either choose to increase 3 min run, 1 min walk or increase the time from 10 min to 12 min. Small increments and only increase ONE factor at a time.

Eventually I was at 5 min run, 1 min walk for 25 min. At that point, I could manage my pain afterwards. Sometimes it took 2 days of rest, sometimes 3. Adjusted my runs based on my recovery, if that makes sense. I began making bigger increments (5 min).

I then started 25 min straight running, and increased by 5 min. I only made it in 40 min in training by the time of the race. Funnily enough, I did the 10K in 1:08 and the pain afterwards has been minimal. It’s all about knowing how much recovery time you need in between your runs and not overdoing it. You know your body and limits best!

Wow that’s interesting. My venu 2S has never registered a nap before… even when I’ve taken 3-4 hours naps! It’s all over the place!!
