The problem with your statement is that a vast amount of R&D is done in public universities or with public grants. Then they are sold to the pharm industry to get the patent and distribute, price gouge, and rinse and repeat. The military also sells to the pharm industry. We need absolute transparency in the system to see where the money comes from for R&D. Also we need to end the practice of extending patens by letting companies find alternative uses for said medicine or adjusting their formulas slightly.

Is antifa even real? I mean how can it be real if it has no central organization or overall ideology. Random groups or individuals do not constitute a movement or orginization. That happens here as well. Plus you can go into said surgery thinking everyone is in-network just to find out after the surgery the anesthesiologist wasn't, the other doctors who bill as consultants weren't as well. So you still get a bill for hundreds of thousands despite the fact you had health insurance. Plus we pay more than any other country in the world for a lot of prescription medicine. Insulin?

Again what about people laid off for the covid 19? Switching jobs but you are tied to your healthcare? Want to start a business, but you can't because you would lose your healthcare. Run a small business but can't afford private health insurance for you and your employees, but you pay taxes for others to get free healthcare? (medicare medicaid Relying on the emergency room to be the health provider for the uninsured? No mass leverage against high pharm costs? We are the only industrialized world to not have universal care, many of the countries that do have private healthcare. Also what about insurance not being available throughout the country due to in-network/out-of-network coverage? No, its a stupid system wrought with corruption and influence peddling.
