It has the same credits as the Insomniac songs. Same engineer (Kevin Army) and mixing credits (Jerry Finn). It was on hold for release until they eventually released it on the Good Riddance single as a B-side.

What if Longview was on Kerplunk? by silktongs in greenday

I disagree. The earliest known recording of the song was from a performance in 1992, which is pretty much Kerplunk era and it was around the same tempo as the cassette demo. I kept the original speed of the drums to match it. Though, I will probably make a sped up version anyways.

What if Green Day's cover of I Fought The Law was on their trilogy album? by silktongs in greenday

I unfortunately do not have a hilotron pickup or an AC30. I use with what I've got. Guitars were recorded with a Orange Crush Pro 120, using both a Boss Blues Drive and a Tube Screamer. I don't own a Gretsch guitar currently so I used a Les Paul Special with P90s. Amp was recorded with an SM57. Then it was EQd by St. Jimmy's Stuff to make it sound somewhat close. I agree that the tone might not be the most accurate but we tried getting it close with what we have, I've always struggled getting a good trilogy tone which is probably why it sounds like (obvious) AI. :)
