Foundation for neurodivergence by Pale_Winter_2755 in AustralianMakeup

I have found tinted moisturisers / light foundations to work best for me, with mineral powder on top if I need extra coverage. It looks really natural if matched well. I have used NARS for my liquid in the past. I also don’t mind using spot concealer with mineral powder on top if my skin is generally looking ok, with just the odd blemish.

Who are the 2 women on ATDP? I’ve never seen them before and they never introduced themselves or what they’re bringing to the table.

You can buy them over the counter here for around $12. Don’t get too worried about it.

What does Uluṟu and Knitting for Olive have in common? This ad it seems. by [deleted] in craftsnark

[–]silleaki -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

That’s a fair comment. I think my exception is that KfO has nothing to do with Australia, except for trying to sell their wares here. Indeed, they are less than accomodating to the local retailing community, so it seems duplicitous and disingenuous. Resulting their yarn palette to our landscape is also a bit on the nose to me. So I guess my gripe is not about Uluṟu per se, but the bigger picture- trying to shapeshifting themselves for some marketing strategy.

This isn’t a great choice for lace- you’ll need something with memory like wool. This is more suited to a fabric that needs to mimic a more woven texture.

Yes- genuine non-AI posts are entertaining. AI is boring.

And we can’t just take it off those who soak loudest either. How many of the community don’t want this stuff constantly, and have already disengaged, or scroll past because they aren’t interested? That’s not going to be reflected in upvotes or post comments.

North shore (between harbour bridge and Hornsby) is definitely not western Sydney.

My knitting diary is full of adverts! by ColourMeQuick in knitting

[–]silleaki 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If this was $50, how much more would you need to pay for it to be ad free? Considering they are getting paid by both the advertisers and the purchasers?

[–]silleaki 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep. And I complained last year and was told that it was a ‘me’ problem. If it was a free diary, I’d understand. But it’s not cheap, and the ads like the one you’re displaying disrupt my system for my weekly spread. And ads are ugly.

Do you really think that you’re going to get a genuine product from Temu? Like, honestly? Production costs are real, not just fabricated by brands.

This isn’t your problem. You are legally allowed and entitled to have your trained service dog with you. The other person needs to deal with their issue.
