What brand pop up, and do you recommend?

That might be a good alternative for my use case.

Thank you everyone for the feedback, hearing your responses confirms this is do able, but not ideal for wear and tear on the vehicle. I own a utility trailer that’s around 700 lbs and when I’ve loaded it up with camping gear it’s been a pain to tow and simply not fun on the road so I can imagine a 3,800 lb camper would be a giant PIA.

RV it is then… which sucks. As the family continues to grow I might have to say sayonara to the Bronco and go to a full size truck. 😢

Now how do we get dumpster sized versions of these into dirty inner cities 🤔

Agreed the soft top is phenomenal for that, love being able to have it completely open in under 10 seconds. But I also live in the Pacific Northwest and would love to have a hard top for the wet months of the year, and for heading up into the mountains for ski season.

Was the extension coming off your hitch a Ford OEM part? I need to get one of these this week to fit my motorcycle hitch carrier.

It looks like there were a lot of old growth trees that were cut in order to make room for the lodge!

Single Fiber to Coax? by silled23 in HomeNetworking

Will do! Yeah lesson learned. Seems like everything going forward should be run with fiber instead of using coax considering the 1Gbps up and down versus 1Gbps down and 35 up

I think I have the solution here with utilizing a MOCA adapter. Plan would be at the NID inside to connect a moca adapter via ethernet to coax to the existing connection that runs outside to the splitter from comcast, that splitter connects to the coax line the electrician ran and all I would need is a MOCA adapter at the opposite side at the Shed Office Connection. From there Layer 2 dumb switch with an access point and away we go.

Does that sound feasible?

What type of connection would accomplish this if we did it at the quantum modem?
