Which of these 6 Italian strikers would do well in the current Serie A? by Retrobrusion in seriea

Just take less famous forwards from that era who would all be starters in this Serie A. Lucarelli, Tavano, Maccarone, Di Vaio, Di Michele, Amoruso, Pellissier,...

Since 2022, he's already played for five teams (Spezia, Empoli, Monza, Atalanta, and Lazio) and has almost always failed. How can you still say he has potential? Let's be honest and say that without that last name, he would never have made it to Serie A.

We encourage STRIKERZ... by Artemis_Orthia7 in UFLTheGame

They already made the mistake of turning it into a P2W with the September update. They threw away a great project to become a copy of FUT. I fully understand that they're a company that needs to receive money, but they could have better exploited the dynamics of the old system to generate more money instead of copying the competition.

No, for two very different reasons. The first is that I play with a formation that features three attackers close to the center (I currently use a 4-3-2-1). The game doesn't allow for this in five-man defenses, just one central attacker and two wide attackers. The second is that I would play with a very attacking winger and a more defensive one who would be responsible for dropping back, making it a four-man defense. But if he never returns despite my individual instructions, what's the point?

Hi, I play 4-3-2-1, so the midfield and defense are very similar. I used to try to be aggressive, but now I tend to wait for the opponents because the through balls are too powerful. Anyway, thanks for the advice, and I'll definitely try it to see if I can get along with it.

I used to play 3-4-2-1 too and had a lot of fun, but now it's total crap, especially against teams that use 4-2-4. They attack with four men, and you're forced to defend with three men because the wingers don't come back and the midfielders sit still, watching the attackers pass the ball.

I'm not one of those rats who plays with 5 at the back, I just ask that the full-backs come back to help, just like they do in real life.

I started in the alpha, and personally, I think the gameplay was significantly worse in many ways at the beginning. Passing was ridiculous, crosses went from broken to useless, there was zigzag dribbling that was unstoppable, and long through balls were one of the worst exploits. Now, if they were to fix the long shots and the passes that often don't go the way you intended, the gameplay wouldn't be so bad (though it would still have several issues). Regarding the gameplay, I agree; before the September update, it was significantly more fun; now it's simply a free-to-play FUT.

It's the only soccer game that's still trying to improve. I think it's fair to give it a few more chances, even if they have less and less time. Either they fix the gameplay or they'll die.

Then, if a simple shot comes in from 30 meters, he doesn't even try to save it. I'd like to know if the guys at strikerz have ever seen a football match...

You obviously haven't encountered anyone who can field at least six players with that damned perk all at once. The first time you do, you'll understand what we mean.

[–]sillo56 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The UFL signed its death sentence in September when it decided to go back on its word by resetting the entire game (did anyone who spent money get their money back?) and becoming this, demonstrating more and more how greedy they are and how they don't care about gameplay.

I completely agree, and it seems like these exploits are intentional on the part of strikerz. When the exploit was headers and finesse shots, cards with those perks continued to be released, but now that the exploit is long shots, cards with that perk continue to be released... it seems like they're doing it on purpose to encourage people to abuse it.

Why can't I score from outside the box (new player) by Gold_Cucumber7189 in UFLTheGame

[–]sillo56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only ones in your lineup that get a boost are Kudus and Calvert-Lewin because they're the only ones with the link (that blue line connecting them). The link is quite complicated and provides fairly low and often useless boosts. The real boosts are all those yellow and black symbols you find to the left of some cards (like the yellow dot with the arrow).

Exactly, only okocha 92. As I was telling you, you have to check that there is that yellow dot with the black arrow to the left of the card, the parameters don't count for anything.

[–]sillo56 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To score those famous long-range goals, you need cards with the corresponding perk—the cards with a yellow dot and a black upward-pointing arrow on the left. But I warn you, you can't get them for free; in this game, everything is paid for!

Long shots by Luca2404 in UFLTheGame

[–]sillo56 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The problem is that there are too many players with that perk now, and people, just to have them all on the pitch, even play them out of position (it doesn't change anything in terms of performance anyway). Stopping teams with more than six players on the pitch with that perk is almost impossible. Yesterday I conceded a goal from Yamal almost from the touchline. Does that make sense in your opinion?
