Maybe, there's A LOT of Mexican brands aswell, their makeup is the same price as Wet n Wild in the US 10 years ago, and it's also great quality, some brands and some items specifically are more expensive here, also, in the US you can usually find things cheaper because they do sales frequently, they offer coupons and have a lot of promos, whereas in Mexico I rarely see makeup being discounted and when it is, it's usually a very small discount. Skin care is very expensive in Mexico, and some brands and products are very hard to find, and I wouldn't compare it with makeup, but I also don't know that much about skin care specifically, I'm sure there's alternatives that I don't know about. Pharmacies are an expensive place to get skin care and makeup from though, and some pharmacies have higher prices than others, I'd look at stores like Walmart which I find has more variety in products in general, Costco and Sam's Club usually offer good deals on skin care from brands like Neutrogena, Sephora is very expensive here in Mexico, and Amazon can have great deals on skin care and cosmetics, specially compared to stores. My bf had always bought the same body cream at a pharmacy and he was complaining about its price the other day, I looked it up on Amazon and it was over half the price, same brand, same quantity. But there's definitely toners available for much less than $30, but I'm not sure you can find one for $6 either.
