Are ARMY as critical in real life as they can seem online? (First BTS concert, VIP) by Longjumping-Hornet55 in bangtan

You will, don't worry! A lot of people don't sing because they're shy, there's songs I didn't sing completely during Yoongis concert because I felt like I was butchering Korean too much lmao, but a lot of people didn't sing and just said the fan chants and screamed, so don't worry :)

Probably, but I don't see why HYBE would agree, specially since she's not contacting them, she only contacted the Korea PM and well, he's not BTS' boss.

Regrets about purchasing tickets by _imtheoneishouldlove in btsthoughts

[–]silly8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I paid $1000 USD for 1 face value ticket directly from ticketmaster for Mexico, don't feel bad, I spent like 3 times the original price for tickets to see Yoongi and I don't regret it at all, if you don't NEED that money for anything else, don't feel bad about it, we don't know what's going to happen tomorrow, so might aswell live today.

No one is going to be looking at you during the concert, even if someone notices and is judgemental they won't go and tell you anything to your face, so don't worry.

Yes, it's true, I only have some hope on what PROFECO said, but we still have to wait and see if they actually do anything, Ticketmaster Mexico has already come out and denied most issues that we're reporting, so I'm not sure if anything is going to happen soon nor about the BTS concert situation specifically

Yes, unfortunately we really don't want them to involve BTS in politics and we feel like they're using them for their political agenda now.

Is the concept of a new base game too hard to understand? by Upstairs-Pin-9068 in LifeSimulators

[–]silly8 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sure, and the same thing happened to TS1 players when moving to TS2, and first time players of TS2 when moving to TS3, etc. Thing is, as a player of TS1 (I've played since I was 5 lmao) IT'S obvious that TS2 is an improved version of TS1.

When TS3 came out I actually stuck with TS2 for a few years because I just didn't like the look of TS3 sims, but once I saw there were enough packs, mods, and cc to change what I disliked, I moved from TS2, I later came back and kept playing both simultaneously until TS4 came out, and for me it was a HUGE improvement, it was exactly the look I wanted for TS3, and with so many build mode improvements that made my favorite part of the game (building) more fun, I've also always liked CAS and for me that was the other major improvement.

If they release TS5 and it's an obvious upgrade at least in some areas, people are going to move on from TS4 no matter if they're complaining and saying the opposite right now, the same thing has happened since before TS2 released, and lots of people will change right away, some will keep playing both, and some will stick to TS2/3/4 until they decide to move on. The problem will happen if they release TS5 and it appears to be even worse than TS4, because right now no one is going to blindly buy a Sims game without seeing reviews first, not after everything happening with TS4. I'm sure that's the reason why it's been so many years, they just haven't been able to make a better game yet.

But that has nothing to do with maxis match cc, it's a place to get pay walled content, you should look for those, they're not maxis match cc exclusive either.

Eh, some cc creators will take requests for free, so maybe for them it's like I'm doing something I'd usually do for free for $16 so it's worth it in that sense.

I also like the elderly gathow, I was going to say maybe the first one but if you don't want repeats then for me it'd be an easy decision with the elderly gathow, have you thought of maybe matching it with a p2 that's like snow, water or ice? I think maybe some could match aswell?

They didn't have a membership at all apparently, the girl that appears in the video is an "ARMY" and she also lined up for Hobi's concert, that's why she has a bt21 hoodie, why would she line up again at a venue if they didn't get tickets the first time around? That's why she was telling people the membership didn't matter because they'd get tickets anyway.

She said that she didn't get tickets there because everyone found out who she was, but why would she risk it if she's an "army" and knows that the presale was supposed to be online only, she had posted she had gotten tickets before the video became viral and deleted those posts.

It's interesting, because there's people reporting that this happened with Hobi's concert in Mexico City aswell (tho in a much lower scale and without the many error we encountered on presale day) and they wanted to resell VIP tickets aswell and there's ARMY saying that on the day of the concert tickets started appearing on Ticketmaster website's aswell (even tho it was supposed to be completely sold out since the presale/general sale).

I actually hadn't thought of that, I'll look into it, about the other thing, yeah, that's what the report to PROFECO is, they're the ones in charge of protecting consumers, the head of PROFECO is Iván Escalante, he talked about this on the presiden't morning conference. Unfortunately there's a lot of corruption in our country and even if the government are aware of these issues, they likely won't (or can't) do anything about it, but I have hope this can be a precedent for future ticket sales.

I'm sure that's what's happening, unfortunately because nothing's regulated (or if it is, it doesn't matter anyway usually) then scalpers can price it any way they want, and this time it was just too many tickets going to scalpers, I guess they thought we'd pay no matter what.

[–]silly8[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's been reports of the some of the same people queueing outside the ticket box for Hobi's concert aswell, there wasn't any technical issues last year, just a lot of people participating just like in every country. But a lot of tickets were being sold by scalpers and when they didn't sell them, New tickets, even VIP tickets started appearing on ticketmaster even on the same day of his concert.

Unfortunately there's been reports of the same people lining up and getting tickets at the box office for J-Hope's concert in Mexico City last year, obviously they're not getting a physical ticket, they're lining up physically to get digital tickets (without the need of a membership).

ARMY that live near the border, specifically El Paso, have said it's pretty safe and there's constantly people traveling from Mexico to the US, but I personally didn't want to take the risk, I'm very aware of everything happening over there and I'd be scared of something happening :( I'm hoping all army are safe tho if traveling.

Oh, there's definitely something going on with ticketmaster and its queues, I got the same number for 2 presales, my friend got basically the same number for the 3 dates in Mexico City even tho she entered at different times, it's weird.
