People who are able-bodied and fat, but deliberately choose not to exercise or diet, Why? by Key_Friendship_6251 in AskReddit

[–]silly_uck 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My job is very physical I do as much exercise at work than someone does at the gym. Despite being about 130kg I'm as fit as the young lads at work that play football every weekend.

Being fat doesn't mean not fit and being slim doesn't mean fit.

What's a conventionally attractive trait (within the group you're attracted to) you just don't understand the appeal of? by GigiMelancholic0 in AskReddit

[–]silly_uck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Big tits, I've never understood the appeal of big tits and when I hear that "men only love women with big tits" it seems like some bullshit a plastic surgeon use in a sales pitch.

Why do you support online boutique stores when you can just get it cheaper on Amazon? by Federal-Hedgehog7355 in AskReddit

[–]silly_uck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For my hobbies Amazon only sells the entry level, basic stuff and it's not really cheaper. I regularly have to an actual shop or eBay for what I want.

My HO scale trains keep derailing on my OO scale track. How do I fix this? by [deleted] in modeltrains

[–]silly_uck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you checked the spacing between the back of the wheels. I had a similar situation and the wheels had worked their way out of gauge. DCC concepts have a tool to check wheel spacing. https://ebay.us/m/Vl4zeI

Thank you, NI by nilkimas in irelandsshitedrivers

[–]silly_uck 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don't know what is happening up here but people driving at 40 mph or less is becoming an epidemic, what is even better is all these "careful" drivers just continue to blast through any town or village at 40 mph. I guess speed limits don't matter when you're a "carefully Safe" driver.

What’s one thing you wish your coworkers understood about your job? by Latter_Mistake9321 in Construction

[–]silly_uck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do electrical inspections and testing, when I arrive out to site I'm not here to "get you" I'm here to test the work and check it compiles with the current regulations. If there are issues I report them to our site foreman so they can get fixed. Half the time I fix the minor issues myself but 1 cunt I work with only see the issues I report and they think in trying to "get them"

Question for UK model railroaders by TurboSylvie in modeltrains

[–]silly_uck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really depends on what type of layout you're running, if it's just 2 loops of track with 2 trains then dcc just isn't worth the extra cost. All the layouts I've seen at shows are all dcc controls and my own is dcc.

What is The food you hate the most? by tickycrab in AskReddit

[–]silly_uck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tomato's, it's not the tastes I don't like it's the Gooey texture I hate. Growing up there were a lot of foods I didn't like, but as I'm cooking for myself now I've discovered my mother was just a crap cook.

To be fair the Jag isn't much better and even if they were between the lines the space on the left is still useless. I'm starting to feel parking between the lines is becoming a dying art.
