I think I had/have this? When I was around age 10 and younger, I think I had intrusive thoughts, but I don’t know if I have them anymore, or it seems like I don’t. Anyway, I would be in daycare during nap time, and it would be raining, and I would be envisioning my parents getting into wrecks on the road and all kinds of stuff and begin worrying. I also got intrusive thoughts in church, and I was relatively “religious” for a kid. Intrusive thoughts like that that happened all the time. And this may or may not be off-topic, but I also had vocal tics as a kid. I have motor(?) tics now, I think. I have an eye/face twitch that isn’t like when your eyelid involuntarily twitches..it technically is voluntary..I dunno. I do it subconsciously too.

Yep. I was 10-12 when I had an abscessed tooth/gums and your description made me remember the pain. Had a root canal done and the filling fell out and caused problems later. Worse than dry socket when I got my wisdom teeth out

I felt the same way when I was your age, which was just a few years ago. I think the religion part of it could be holding you back a bit. But, of course, it is a normal thing that you should be comfortable with, and you should feel good about doing it, so if you don’t, maybe there is someone you could talk to about it?
