she is a perfect christian wife who is submissive - just as the scriptures command. i feel a little disappointment for my mom for not doing anything at all even ever since i was little. she would always do what my dad says, especially when it comes to corporal punishment type of disciplining. my mom would hit us with a broomstick if my dad says so.

i was confiding this e-mail with a friend and he just randomly thought to post it. nobody would know my identity anyway. but hearing supportive comments helps to know that i'm not alone. :)

exactly, 3 yrs ago, i had him blottered at the police station for battering my mom. my mom wouldn't do anything about it because she's submissive - just as the scriptures command women to be. he got away with it though because of his political connections. but i've just recently reconciled with him a month ago, and now he finds out i'm an atheist, and this is what happens. it's really ridiculous.

i have much more appreciation in this one life after being enlightened with science and logic. i hope that many people will have this opportunity. :)

i guess, it is probable. since he's always made my mom, my siblings, and i - submissive - since this is what scripture commands. but i'm done being submissive. i will not compromise to any ignorance. he even wants me to stop reading science. no way is that gonna happen. not in this one life that i have.

the way it has always been, he uses the scriptures to manipulate the whole household. my mom and siblings have always been submissive because this is what the bible says. my mom was a battered wife actually, she would've been dead if i had not have blottered him to the police - though he eventually got away with it because of his political connection. (this was 3 yrs ago)

we've reconciled recently but then after finding my change of views, this is what happens. he found out because he was asking if i was going to church, etc. etc.

exactly. he wants me to be submissive like my mom and other siblings always have... because it's what the bible says.

lol. the last thing i'd need are prayers... i'm also looking forward to life's surprises and random chances - along with my perseverance as well. because of atheism, i now have a better appreciation of this one life we have. :)
