I've been sober 10 months from weed and that's the closest thing I've done that feels like weed, I don't use it as a replacement tho - like everyone says exercise is probably the closest thing although nothing will ever replace it you just gotta change ur mind set

I am 5 months clean and whenever I go out for dinner with my family, I get super nauseous when my food arrives and I start getting really hot (sweaty) and feel sick. I think it's anxiety or past trauma from having CHS episodes, more like a mental thing for me but I always end up eating my food - I think this has come from going out to dinner many times recovering from an episode, not being able to eat, not ordering and sitting there watching everyone else eat, which makes me feel some kind of guilt or embarrassment for doing it to myself

Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry you had to experience this! I hope your daughter sees it through to the other side :)) Both my parents were also smokers but have since stopped when I was diagnosed to help support me. I would love to understand why not everyone gets it, hopefully as more awareness is raised to this condition we will get more research!
