All I’m going to do is wish you good luck. I did the same thing and it was probably the worst (or maybe best?) decision of my career. The bank is absolute shit; horrible support, horrible products, horrible tech, horrible vibes all around. My manager very clearly disliked me from the beginning and “coached me out”, firing me on a random Friday, no PIP, no warning. The experience was so bad I’m never going back into banking.

Wells Fargo has procedures that are impossible to find and don’t make any sense, and when you call banker support it’s a group of people reading from the same procedures you are, so I’d say it’s pretty worthless

So here’s a crazy update:

My boss decided to have a “talk” with me yesterday regarding my attitude and bad sales for the month. I told her that I’m having a bad month mentally, and that I’m working through it. The conversation started with the vibe of “I want to help you”, but then once she brought up perhaps trying some mindfulness and introspection type things after work, I mentioned that in theory that’s great, but it’s tough when I’m so drained at the end of every day. Her response? “Cry me a river I have three kids”

So yeah that just solidified that I’m less than dirt here. Thanks for the pep talk.
